TOOLbox II - Sides by JayRandall TOOLbox II - Sides by JayRandall
Sides of the TOOLbox done for a client/commission. These faces wrap all the way around all four sides of the box. Incredibly labor-intensive but the end result was pretty satisfying!

Time-wise? About 40 hours of work just burning. How much did I charge? Not enough! Thought it would take me about half the time actually. We'll see about a tip ;)

I have been charging by the hour of actual woodburning and it seems to be working for me and my clients pretty well. The more detail/bigger piece...higher the cost. At the moment I'm not taking commissions as I'm heading back to school and finishing my degree (fingers crossed!) If all goes well, I'll be back open for business in less than a year. Thanks for the interest Richard and keep watching!
